Design Work

A selection of one off commissions, personal projects and printed works. Mock ups created with FreePik

The Levanté Papers

The project, for Biscuit Fund Games was to illustrate a series of articles for a fictional scientific journal. This project was funded on Kickstarter and reached over 300% of its funding goals based on the fantastic premise and a selection of cover art I produced to promote the project.

Fantasy Illustrations

With my fantasy art I focus on it having that In World  feel, like it could be found in a dusty drawer, forgotten for centuries, or like it might hang on a wall, pride of place, in an evil lord's manor. To this end, focusing on replicating traditional painting and drawing techniques in photoshop has gone a long way to achieving the desired effects.

Winter of the Wolf

This project's brief was to redesign and illustrate the memoirs of Wolodymyr Papuca which were published by Book of My Life. I worked closely with the family of the late author, to faithfully represent and express his experiences. The book is a fascinating piece of family and social history that explores the appalling realities of life under Stalin and Hitler with nuance, humour and candidness.

Red Herring Magazine

The Red Herring is an independent non-profit environmentalist magazine, the goal of which was to explore the theme of water. Most of the content is research news with some fiction and poetry as well.

The full digital magazine can be found here: The Red Herring
